Responsibility
Concept Development:
Lead the ideation and design process for landscape projects, from initial sketches to high-level concepts.
Create visually engaging and functional landscape designs that align with client objectives and project requirements.
Integrate innovative design solutions that enhance sustainability, usability, and aesthetic appeal.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and subconsultants.
Manage and mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and professional growth.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the conceptual phase, ensuring alignment with their vision.
Design Documentation:
Produce detailed sketches, renderings, and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
Oversee the preparation of concept-level drawings, diagrams, and reports.
Sustainability and Innovation:
Incorporate sustainable practices and innovative materials into design concepts.
Stay informed of emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in landscape architecture.
Project Oversight:
Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards and deadlines.
Provide strategic input during the transition from concept to detailed design phases.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum +15 years of experience in landscape design, with a strong focus on conceptual development.
Proven leadership experience in managing design teams and client relationships.
Skills:
Expertise in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong hand-drawing and visualization skills.
In-depth understanding of sustainability practices and principles in landscape design.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Competencies:
Visionary thinking and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to balance creativity with practical considerations.
