Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Wet Utilities Team Leader to join our Cairo branch and lead the design and delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on Saudi Arabia and Gulf region developments.

Responsibility

  • Lead and manage wet utilities design teams for large-scale infrastructure and mixed-use developments.

  • Oversee the preparation of potable water, irrigation, stormwater, and wastewater network designs in compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), MEWA guidelines, and BS EN standards.

  • Ensure full coordination of wet utility designs with other disciplines to deliver fully integrated solutions.

  • Conduct technical reviews, quality checks, and ensure designs are ready for authority approvals.

  • Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and compliance with local requirements.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Engineering (Master’s preferred).

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in wet utilities design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience in delivering Saudi Arabia projects, with deep knowledge of local authority processes and approval requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of SBC, MEWA guidelines, and relevant international standards.

  • Excellent communication skills, especially in English, with proven ability to interface effectively with clients and stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional mindset, resilience, and ability to work under pressure.

  • Smart, solution-oriented, and able to manage complex design challenges.

  • Proficiency in design software such as WaterCAD, SewerGEMS, and Civil 3D.
